Grandma Kay Lee and members of the Cannabis Action Network arrived at Starke Prison this afternoon. The crew drove proudly through the main gates of the prison in the famous Gainesville Hemp Mobile. Kay said they filled the lobby as they met with prison officials. Warden Crosby, however, was unavailable to meet with Kay.

"We've put them on notice, and we have them scrambling" stated a tired Kay Lee this evening. "Gary knows I'm here, his lawyer and family got a message to him." that is the important part to Kay, that the prisoners and their family know she is there. She is anxious for visiting hours on Saturday and a chance to hear the families stories.

Kay has taken up residence at a local motel and when asked about her future plans, she said she will be there until she has to go. Kay is a tower of resolve on the issue of creating "transparent prison walls".

Kay asked that the number at the motel be published to all lists. She is hopeful that people will contact her about joining the vigil. Kay will be limited in her internet access, but can be reached by phone.
