Subject: We're kicking the competition

If you're a student of the Internet, you know about sites that assess Web traffic. Statistics from these sites measure whether Websites have gained or lost visitors and how many pages those visitors view during each visit. Traffic analyzers rank these sites and estimate the number of people they reach.

Over the past several years, a surprising trend has emerged. We have won the hearts and minds of Web surfers. Prohibition focused sites like www.whitehousedrugpolicy.gov (the ONDCP), www.freevibe.com, and www.theantidrug.com have all seen drops in Web traffic. Their page views have plummeted and their reach has shrunk. Their funding -- some from the famed National Youth Anti-Drug Media Campaign -- has fallen from almost $200 million to "only" $60 million in 2008. And don't forget those $15 million Super Bowl ads!

In contrast, reform-focused sites like our www.mapinc.org are growing in both rank and reach, and visitors view a remarkable 10 pages or more during each visit.

The surprising fact is that, in the face of billion dollar budgets and flashy advertising, we achieve these results on a budget of only 0.5% (!) of theirs. In these tough economic times, that is incredible value and incredibly effective.

While our Websites are FREE for our visitors, they are not free to produce. Your tax deductible donation funds our rank, reach, and page views and keeps them all well ahead of our prohibition competition.

Donating is quick, easy, and secure at
